Around 71 US Senators are set to vote on “bone crushing” sanctions on Russia and will prepare enormous tariffs on countries who are supporting Vladimir Putin’s war.

Bloomberg reported that Senator Lindsey Graham told reporters the bill will hit Russia hard and countries who support Russia will face 500% tariffs on imports that buy oil, gas, uranium or petroleum from Moscow if Putin continues to avoid negotiations to end the war.

Graham said, “The goal is to help the president.

“I think Trump’s the best person to achieve that goal, but these sanctions represent the Senate’s view that we see the primary bad guy as being Russia.”

He added the Russian leader “would be making a huge mistake to try to play Trump,” warning the sanctions will provide “a tool in President Trump’s toolbox.”
