Aldi whiskies have been named among the best in the world and has won three golds at the International Spirits Challenge awards.

The three whiskies that Aldi has created are the Samuel Joe’s Straight Kentucky Bourbon, the Glen Marnoch Highland Single Scotch Whisky and the Highland Earl Blended Scotch Whisky.

Aldi’s single malt category won over M&S and the Lochlea Distillery which costs from £45 a bottle.

Aldi’s three award wining whiskies price start from £14.99 to £18.49.

Aldi also won three silver medals for Glen Marnoch Islay Single Malt Whisky, Glen Marnoch Speyside Single Malt Whisky and the Highland Black Blended Scotch Whisky.

Julie Ashfield, managing director of buying at Aldi UK said, “This industry recognition helps to prove that great quality doesn’t have to come with a luxury price tag and customers can be confident they’re saving money with us, whilst getting the best whisky taste and experience.”
