Ukraine has revealed a new “class of weapon” which can strike Russia air bases to “destroy” Russia’s “offensive potential.”
President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Ukraine has used the new “Palianystia” rocket-drone is more than capable of reaching two dozen Russian military airfields.
The two dozen Russian airbases are in strike range and by blowing up airfields and warplanes this will be the start of saving lives in Ukraine, Zelensky said.
Zelensky said on Sunday, “In the two and a half years of full-scale war, Russia has launched about 10,000 missiles of various types and more than 33,000 glide bombs at Ukraine.
“Stopping attacks on our cities can be achieved by targeting the carriers of this weaponry—Russian aircraft stationed at military airfields.

“Yesterday, the first successful combat use of our new weapon – the Ukrainian long-range rocket drone “Palianytsia” – took place. It was designed domestically to destroy the enemy’s offensive potential.
“The number of rocket drones’ production will grow just like our long-range strike drones production did, whose efficiency we see almost daily.”

On Saturday, President Zelensky said, “Today the first and successful combat use of our new weapon took place. An absolutely new class of weapon of the Ukrainian missile-drone ‘Palianytsia.’ We are preparing some more powerful solutions.”
On Saturday the Kremlin was issued with a warning that Ukrainian forces “will reach any point” inside the Russian Federation as thousands are now inside the Kursk region.
President Zelensky said in a message to mark Independence Day on Saturday, “Our enemy will also know what the Ukrainian-way retaliation is. Worthy, symmetrical, long-ranged.
“They will know that sooner or later a Ukrainian response will reach any point in the Russian Federation that is a source of danger to the life of our state and our people.
“It retaliates for our civilians, who are targeted by guided aerial bombs and Kinzhals, for our parents who have turned grey, for our children who are forced to study underground.
“For all our people who would prefer never to know the names of these cursed places in their lives: Savasleika, Olenya, Engels. But unfortunately, Ukrainians know them.”
