The Prime Minister has been branded an “ivory tower leader” as he cut the winter fuel payment for millions of pensioners whilst he is enjoying well over £100,000 of free gifts since 2019, Sky News reports.

Sir Keir Starmer told voters during his campaign that he is a man of the people and he accused Rishi Sunak of being “out of touch,” well he is now showing his true self.

Starmer who enjoys his football and is an Arsenal fan defended his so called right to receive free football freebie this week, he shockingly said, “If I don’t accept a gift of hospitality, I can’t go to a game.”

A member of the Labour government told Sky News that the amount of freebies Starmer and his family are receiving is just “nuts,” adding that these freebies “should be banned.”

Starmer has received almost £40,000 in tickets to watch football since December 2019.

Business Secretary Jonathan Reynolds defended the Prime Minister and said there is “a number of ways supporters support any political party”.

Sometimes that’s support for campaign literature, sometimes that’s support for staffing costs, sometimes it’s of more of a personal nature.

“But I have no objection to that, and we have very clear rules and transparency in place in this area, so I have no objection to how the system works.”

He added, “I know Keir Starmer personally. I know how hard he works.

“If he’s going to a football match or anything to give himself a little bit of a wider life experience than just working every second again, I don’t have any objections to that, as long as it’s transparent.”
