A Russian MP has said that the French President Emmanuel Marcon is a “liar” and he wants “to appear like Napoleon.”

Sergey Mironov claims Macron is “following” in the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s footsteps and warned they “both face an inglorious end.”

Mironov claims the French president’s false statements about the Russian threat to Europe reflects his desire to retain power and avoid responsibility for his own mistakes.

Mironov told LondonLovesBusiness.com, “Emmanuel Macron wants to appear like Napoleon, who subjugated almost all of Europe at the beginning of the 19th century.

“Then the European coalition led by the French emperor attacked Russia under the pretext of defending against possible Russian aggression.

“Sounds similar, right? As a result, Napoleon barely escaped from Russia, and his Grand Army was defeated. Can Macron now take revenge on a nuclear power? No, and I’m sure he understands that perfectly well.

“But his calls are not madness. In fact, the French president has followed the path of the Ukrainian dictator Volodymyr Zelensky, for whom martial law is the only way to preserve power and money.

“All accusations against Russia, as they were 200 years ago, are based entirely on lies. For years, Kiev, Paris, and Berlin—not Moscow—disrupted the Minsk agreements and hindered peace, as François Hollande and Angela Merkel later admitted.

“Macron and other European leaders are well aware that if peace comes to Ukraine now, there will be no reason to blame all their problems on Russia or justify the need to support the Kiev regime. So, they want to fight to the last Ukrainian and the last euro cent.

“It is also possible that they have a personal financial interest in continuing the war.”

For militarists and Russophobes, peace with Russia is indeed worse than war. But they will not be able to intimidate people and maintain power forever. The statements of Macron and others like him are the agony before an inescapable political death,” Sergey Mironov added.
