Scientists warn a possible ‘alien spaceship of some kind’ is heading towards earth – London Business News | Londonlovesbusiness.com

Harvard University researchers have said a celestial object of “an unusual size” with “unusual acceleration” is travelling towards earth.

The researchers have said they are trying to work out if the celestial object has extraterrestrial technology is heading towards us.

The object has been called 31/Atlas by astronomers which is 12 to 13 miles in diameter and is on a path that will bring the possible comet or “alien spaceship” around 170 million miles from earth on 19 December.

Astrophysicist Avi Loeb who heads up three Harvard scientists have published their research which examines if the object travelling through space is a “hostile” alien spaceship, and the unusual characteristics has triggered serious conversations over what the object really is.

The European Space Agency and Hubble telescope said, the object is travelling at around 130,000 miles per hour, this is a fastest recorded object travelling through the solar system, this is different from normal celestial mechanics, NASA said.

Former Ministry of Defence (MoD) UFO investigator Nick Pope said, “It is not beyond the realms of science fiction that 31/Atlas could be an alien spaceship of some kind.

He added, “It’s an unusual size, unusual acceleration, unusual course and unusual behaviour those things combined very closely match a sort of mapping or survey mission.”

Pope said there could be a natural answer as to what the object could be, he said, “Of course, this could turn out to be just a comet or an asteroid albeit an interstellar one, so interesting and incredibly rare.”

Pope added, “The good thing is this is a testable hypothesis.”

The trajectory of the celestial object provides concealment for any observations on earth to obtain information, should there be an exploration, the sun will prevent researchers from watching the object.

“Maybe the trajectory was designed,” Loeb, science professor at Harvard University, told Fox News Digital. “If it had an objective to sort of to be on a reconnaissance mission, to either send mini probes to those planets or monitor them… It seems quite anomalous.”

Pope said, “It might do one of two things if this is technological. It could change course and come to Earth itself.

“Or it could, if it’s a mothership, deploy some probes that would come to Earth.”

“Usually with comets you have a tail, a cometary tail, where dust and gas are shining, reflecting sunlight, and that’s the signature of a comet,” Loeb told Fox News Digital.

“Here, you see a glow in front of it, not behind it.”

The former MoD investigator said, “The clock is ticking down. We will know soon enough whether we’re dealing with first contact . . . or just a big rock.”
