Lee Anderson has said there is “big names” lining up to join Reform UK and described them like “rats leaving the sinking ship.”

Anderson who is Reform’s chief whip that people are not “taking any notice of the Labour Party or the Tories,” after a new YouGov shock poll has said that Nigel Farage’s party is on 28%, which is a five-point lead and the Conservatives on just 18%.

He told the People’s Channel that the Conservatives are “toast” and “people aren’t taking any notice of the Labour Party or the Conservative Party”, he said.

He said, “Let’s be clear. In my opinion, the Conservative Party is toast. If I was allowed, I would show you messages I have been getting on my phone from Tory councillors, ex-Tory MPs who are wanting to make the move.

“Just join if you want to. There are no deals to be struck with people wanting to be promised things.”

Anderson was sked if he can give any “big names,” he said, “There’s a few but I can’t reveal the information stored within my phone.

“But they’re rattled. The rats are leaving the sinking ship pretty sharpish. We want real people from the real world to step up and say, ‘we’ve had enough of this nonsense’.

“We had the most amount of candidates in all the councils and guess what?

“We get 10 councils, 677 councillors, two mayoral elections and one MP.”
