The beer maker Asahi said their shares remain resilient on Friday despite their factories having been shutdown for almost a week due to the cyber-attack.

The Financial Times reported that Japan is a few days away from running out of Asahi Super Dry as a result.

A spokesperson told AFP on Friday, “No immediate recovery of our system is in sight at the moment. Ordinary shipments remain halted.

“Production is not directly affected (by the system dysfunction) but it has been halted because shipments are suspended.”
