Aston Martin has cut their workforce by 5% as losses widen for the fifth year and the luxury car maker are planning to cut 170 jobs.

The luxury carmaker said on Wednesday they must ensure the company is “appropriately resourced for its future plans,” and said the cuts a “difficult but necessary action.”

The company said they are targeting savings of £25 million.
