Beats Studio Pro hit their lowest price ever for Black Friday and I almost want to change my review

The Beats Studio Pro are a great set of noise-canceling headphones. I liked them enough that even at their regular price of $350, I gave them a 3.5/5 in my full review. But with a wild Cyber Monday deal that seems to be sticking around for Cyber Week, that drops their price by 42% to just $200, I’m sorely tempted to give them a much higher score.

If you’re already a Beats fan, you don’t need me to tell you that the Studio Pro look great. The sleek, fully integrated headband gives these cans one of the lowest profiles in the headphone world. It’s not just for show — the Studio Pro offer an excellent balance of comfort and stability. I’m not a big fan of using full-size, over-ear headphones at the gym or while running, but if that’s your bag, the Studio Pro are probably the right way to go.

And if you’re also an Apple fan, the Beats Studio Pro are almost a no-brainer. They’re substantially more affordable than the AirPods Max, yet they deliver many of the features that has made Apple’s flagship so popular. Capable active noise cancellation, good transparency mode, clear and powerful audio — the Studio Pro has them all.

Plus, you can easily switch between all of your Apple devices, and the headphones will do head-tracked spatial audio when connected to Apple’s products like the iPhone or an Apple TV 4K.

I’m especially impressed that Beats gave the Studio Pro three ways to listen: Bluetooth for wireless, a 3.5mm cable for analog, and a USB-C cable for charging and USB audio from any USB-C-equipped device like an iPhone 15/16 or an Apple laptop. With USB audio, you get the absolute highest level of audio quality from these cans, and it’s a feature you won’t find on the $549 AirPods Max.

Are the Beats Studio Pro perfect? No. They’re missing Bluetooth multipoint for true simultaneous wireless connections, the controls can feel awkward at times (especially when using the tiny power button for ANC mode switches), and they may not be the most rugged choice if you tend to be hard on your gear.

But considering that during this year’s Cyber Week they’re $150 off? I’m willing to overlook all of these issues, and I suggest you consider doing the same. It’s a fantastic deal.
