Major General Andrey Lukyanovich, commander of the Belarusian Air Defense Forces said on TV that country’s radio technical corps have also been deployed, Associated Press reported.

Last Friday Belarus warned there is a “high probability” that Ukraine are preparing for “armed provocations” against their country.

The Belarusian Defence Minister Viktor Khrenin said on Friday the situation is “tense” on their border and President Alexander Lukashenko who is a staunch ally of Vladimir Putin warned that Ukraine could attack Belarus which will then widen the war.

Khrenin said, “Given the presence of Ukrainian armed formations in the border areas, there is a high probability of preparing and carrying out armed provocations on our territory, as well as high-profile actions, including with the involvement of Belarusian nationalist formations.”
