The Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has said that his supersonic warplanes are now nuclear ready.

In a stark warning to the West Lukashenko said the country’s SU-24 warplane fleet is now ready to carry nuclear weapons which was supplied by Vladimir Putin.

The Sukhoi Su-24 is a supersonic, all-weather attack aircraft which can fly at a speed of 1,315kmh and cost around $25 million.

Lukashenko is a close ally of Putin and he previously said that Russia “must be ready” to use his nuclear arsenal.

In July Lukashenko warned of a “nuclear” solution, he told AFP, “Let’s stop and then we will figure out how to go on living.

“There’s no need to go further. Further lies the abyss of nuclear war.”

Lukashenko then blamed the West for backing Volodymyr Zelensky and his fight with Moscow, he added, “You have fomented the war and are continuing it.

“We have seen the reasons for this war.”

He continued, “If Russia had not got ahead of you, members of NATO, you would have organised and struck a blow against it.”

Putin is accelerating Russia’s defence pact with Belarus in a warning to the West that they could be preparing or war.

Russian Defence Minister Sergie Shoigu warned that Moscow and Minsk must now take immediate action to get their troops combat ready and must urgently improve their defence capabilities, which is a warning they are preparing for war.

The Guardian reported, that the Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis said, “Belarusian troops are receiving their commands now more and more from the Russian political decision-makers.

“That means there are low, very low, levels of independence in the Belarusian army.”

Military analyst Michael Kofman, director of Russian Studies at the CNA corporation previously warned, “We’re dealing with a defining moment in European security.”

Belarus has effectively surrendered to Russia 100-years after the Soviet Union was formed in 1922 and Minsk is now part of Putin’s new Russian empire.
