The German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock has said on Tuesday afternoon that Vladimir Putin is seeking to intimidate the West by exploiting our fears over the use of nuclear weapons.
During a visit to Poland Baerbock said at a news conference that Berling will heed the Kremlin’s warnings over a nuclear attack after Putin has lowered the strike parameters.
She said the Kremlin has continually threatened nuclear strikes if the West does this, that or the other, Baerbock added, “We will not let ourselves be intimidated.”
On Tuesday Putin updated the principles of Russia’s nuclear doctrine nuclear deterrence policy and Western missiles hitting targets inside the country could justify a nuclear attack on the West.

The new approved nuclear doctrine implies a nuclear strike could happen if there is “aggression against the Russian Federation and its allies by a non-nuclear state with the support of a nuclear state” using massive aerial non-nuclear attacks such as using drones.
Putin will now consider aggression by a non-nuclear state as a joint attack by the West if it is supported and the strike has been with the participation of a nuclear armed country.
Putin has said that Russia does not need a preventative strike in their nuclear deterrence policy “because, in a retaliatory strike, the enemy will be guaranteed to be destroyed.
The German Foreign Minister added, “After February 2022, the federal government said it would not repeat this mistake a second time. That’s why we are here together, cooperating as Europeans and representing the strongest European countries.”
Dmitry Medvedev deputy chairman of the Security Council of Russia said on Telegram, “what is happening may have very serious consequences” as Ukraine prepares to launch cruise missiles inside Russia, he warned that “World War III” is already here.
Medvedev has warned that should Ukraine launch cruise missiles or the US supplied ATACMS then this could amount to World War Three.
He said, “It is not so important who and when made the decision to use NATO tactical ballistic and long-range cruise missiles ‘deep into the territory’ of Russia. Moreover, there have already been attempts to use them against our country.”
Medvdev added, “It is not so important how many of them the enemy has today. As well as the fact that their use, in the opinion of our enemies, should have not only a military, but also an informational effect.
“It is not so important that these missiles will not be able to make a significant contribution to the enemy’s military actions. It is not so important that with such decisions the current US administration is deliberately creating such an escalation of the conflict that Trump’s team will have to deal with.
“One thing is important – what the Head of the Russian State said on September 12. And as a result, a new version of the Fundamentals of State Policy in the Field of Nuclear Deterrence was approved today. The use of alliance missiles in this way can now be qualified as an attack by the bloc’s countries on Russia.
“In this case, the right arises to launch a retaliatory strike with weapons of mass destruction against Kiev and the main NATO facilities, wherever they are. And this is already WWIII.”
