We’re constantly tracking down the best TV deals, finding the best savings on top LEDs, QLEDs, and traditional OLED sets. While the latter is predominately produced by LG these days, this is a company that’s been refining its OLED tech over several years. That’s why we have no gripes in calling the LG B4 Series one of our favorite budget-friendly OLED TVs. Speaking of which, the 65-inch version is on sale at Best Buy this week.
Right now, when you purchase the LG 65-inch B4 Series OLED at Best Buy, you’ll spend $1,500. At full price, this model sells for $2,500. We track OLED TV deals regularly, and we’ve really only seen the 48-inch size get the sales treatment.
Why you should buy the LG B4 Series OLED
Picture and sound quality are two of the top considerations for any TV purchase, and the LG B4 Series certainly doesn’t disappoint. LG’s a8 AI Processor 4K is the brains behind most of the picture optimization on this TV, and you can expect rich colors, excellent contrast, and the kind of inky black levels that only an OLED set can produce. We’re also glad to see that all four HDMI ports are 2.1 certified, which makes this a fantastic TV for gaming.
The 65-inch B4 Series has a 20W speaker system, but the TV goes above and beyond a stereo soundstage. Thanks to LG’s a8 AI Sound Pro tech, the B4 is able to virtualize up to a 9.1.2 surround configuration. The sound stays sharp and clear at moderate volumes, and the speakers can be cranked if you really want to fill your room with sound.
On top of class-leading HDR capabilities and the brilliant addition of Filmmaker Mode, the B4 Series uses LG’s webOS 24 for its UI and streaming capabilities. Not only will you be able to stream thousands of movies and shows from apps like Netflix and Disney+, but the B4 even supports AirPlay 2 and hands-free voice controls. The TV comes with LG’s Magic Remote, too.
