The Co-op has announced that their systems are now back up and running following the cyber attack last month after hackers tried to break into their systems.

The supermarket chain said on Wednesday there will be improved stock availability online and in stores from the weekend.

“We are now in the recovery phase and are taking steps to bring our systems gradually back online in a safe and controlled manner,” a spokesperson said in a statement on Wednesday, Reuters reported.
