Germany is considering reinstating mandatory conscription as threat of World War Three keeps growing.
Russia’s constant threats of conflict have prompted Germany’s top general to warn citizens that mandatory conscription is “absolutely” necessary to ensure they can defend themselves against war.

General Breuer told Radio 4, “We won’t get this additional 100,000 soldiers without having one or the other, a model of conscription.

The next German Chancellor Friedrich Merz has announced earlier this month that Berlin will vastly rearm which has not been seen since World War II.
