Tory MPs and the interim leadership to hold the Labour government to account as they are “getting away with absolute murder.”

Tory MP Iain Duncan Smith told GB News that some of Labour’s comments and decisions since coming into power has caused fear and he is urging the Conservative Party to challenge Starmer and his cabinet.

He told Camilla Tominey, “There are questions to be asked. You have an opposition with people shadowing ministers and an opposition leader.

“I would say to them now, you have a job to do. You can’t just quit the stage and wait for the leaders’ debate to take place.

“They have a responsibility to be on the front line. If they care for this party or they care for this country, even if they aren’t standing for leader or whatever, this is a public service. You have a task to do.

“Yes, we lost big time. That doesn’t mean we walk away and cry in a corner somewhere.

“This government is getting away with absolute murder at the moment. We have to get after them.”
