US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents have arrest illegal migrants, one is a former Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps member with possible ties to Hezbollah and another is a former Iranian army sniper and is on the terror watchlist.
They were all arrested over the weekend following warnings that Iranian “sleeper cells” could be activated.
This should send a clear message to Sir Keir Starmer that no one knows who is travelling across the English Channel and what their future intentions may be.
The former IRGC member Makari Sahel “admitted connections” to the Iranian backed Lebanese terror group Hezbollah, CBS News reported.
He was sentenced to 15 months in prison for possessing a firearm the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) said.

CBS News reported that Yousef Mehridehno was arrested by ICE in Mississippi as his name is on the terror watchlist.
DHS said on Tuesday that 11 Iranian illegal migrants were arrested, most have criminal records, and they are all in custody.
DHS wrote on X on Tuesday, “Under Secretary Noem, DHS has identified and arrested known or suspected terrorists and violent extremists that illegally entered this country, came in through [President Joe] Biden’s fraudulent parole programs or otherwise.
“We have been saying we are getting the worst of the worst out — and we are. We don’t wait until a military operation to execute; we proactively deliver on President Trump’s mandate to secure the homeland.”
Following the US President ordering the attacks on three nuclear sites in Iran, border agents were told there could be possible Iranian “sleeper cells” in the US, The Post reported following a leaked memo.
CBP Commissioner Rodney Scott cited “Iran’s hatred for the United States and their desire to harm America and Americans.
“Over the past four years, thousands of Iranian nationals have been documented entering the United States illegally and countless more were likely in the known and unknown got-a-ways.”
He added, “Though we have not received any specific credible threats to share with you all currently, the threat of sleeper cells or sympathizers acting on their own, or at the behest of Iran has never been higher.”
