It’s a satisfyingly clicky, full QWERTY keyboard for your iPhone.

Typing on a smartphone isn’t bad, but it’s not exactly productive either. If you’re typing out a long email, message or working with a document, chances are, you’re probably going to migrate to a laptop or computer, Mac included. It’s not only more satisfying to work on a full size keyboard, even a compact one, it’s so much more intuitive. The answer, usually, is to grab a portable or compact keyboard that works with your phone. But I’m here to tell you there’s a much better way, and it’s completely accessible — meaning it won’t empty your bank account. Cue Clicks, or more aptly the Clicks iPhone keyboard. Designed for the iPhone 14, 15, and 16, it’s essentially a case with a keyboard built-in, but it’s soo clicky and satisfying. The brand also claims that it gives your iPhone “superpowers,” and I’m convinced they’re not wrong.

While there’s no huge discount currently, it’s already reasonably-priced. Starting at $139 for the iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro, and $159 for the larger devices, like the iPhone 14 Pro Max, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and iPhone 16 Pro Max. It’s definitely something you should check out if you type a lot on your phone.

Why you should consider the Clicks Keyboard for your iPhone

Clicks

Let’s start with the obvious. The Clicks Keyboard has a minimalist design and comes in a few different colors like Surf (blue), Onyx (black), Bumblebee (yellow), Miami Beach (pink) and Spice (red). It makes your phone slightly longer, obviously adding the compact QWERTY keyboard at the bottom. But it’s not so big that it’s uncomfortable or unmanageable to hold with one hand.

But it’s so much more than just a keyboard attachment. It frees up your screen during use, especially since you no longer need the onscreen touch keyboard. That leaves more screen real estate for apps, text, content, and much more. It’s also a super companion for content creators on the go. Imagine being able to type your posts and content, freely, with the full support of a keyboard — without having to lug an external keyboard around.

It’s optimized for feel and accuracy, and every button press offers a satisfying “click,” similar to a mechanical keyboard. It gives it that tactile, typewriter-esque feel. You can also charge your phone like normal. Just plug in your iPhone’s Lighting or USB-C cable for standard wired charging.

It fits snugly around your phone, as well, like a slim or form-fitting case. However, with something like this, the true test is the experience. You need to get hands-on to actually see how well it works and how good it feels. Words don’t do it justice.

With reasonable pricing, the Clicks Keyboard starts at $139 for smaller iPhone models, and $159 for larger models like the new iPhone 16 Pro Max. Go check it out. As a bonus, it would make a great gift for any mobile iPhone creators you know. Maybe a stocking stuffer?
