The new Reform UK Mayor of Greater Lincolnshire has said during her victory speech that illegal migrants should be put in “tents” and does not want them placed in hotels, which is costing taxpayers billions.
Dame Andrea Jenkins has called for “an end to soft touch Britain.”
Speaking on Friday Jenkins said, “The fightback to save the heart and soul of our great country has now begun.
“Now that Reform is in a place of power, we can help start rebuilding Britain. Inch by inch, Reform will reset Britain to its glorious past.
“We will tackle illegal migration. We’ve been working on policies.
“I say no to putting people in hotels. Tents are good enough for France, they should be good enough for here in Britain.”
The newly elected Reform UK Mayor has proposed a new idea for the illegal immigrants and said that tents are “good enough” to be used in France.

The BBC asked her about her comments, Dame Andrea said, “I think that’s what the silent majority think.” She added: “Illegal migrants, people who come here illegally, should be put in tents.”
