The Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said that around 155 Chinese nationals are fighting for Vladimir Putin.

The Ukrainian Security Services have compiled a list of names and the Russian units that they are fighting with.

President Zelensky said, “The Chinese issue is serious.

“There are 155 people with names and passport details – 155 Chinese citizens who are fighting against Ukrainians on the territory of Ukraine.

“We are collecting information and believe that there are more – many more.”

He added, “America is clearly seeing today the actions undertaken by Russia.

“I do not understand why America is not reacting forcefully towards Russia. There is nothing in terms of diplomacy or statements.

The Chinese Foreign Minister said that President Zelensky’s comments are “irresponsible”  and the spokesperson Lin Jian added that all parties should hold a “sober” view of China’s role as Beijing have made attempts to negotiate to end the war.

Jian added, “Ukraine should correctly view China’s efforts and constructive role in seeking a political solution to the Ukrainian crisis.”
