Kyiv signals plans for long range strikes deep inside Russia – London Business News | Londonlovesbusiness.com

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Force of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi was summoned to a meeting with President Volodymyr Zelensky and spoke of more long-range strikes deep inside Russia.

In the meeting Syrskyi discussed that the Russian army is focusing on the Pokrovsk region where there is fierce fighting and they are taking heavy losses.

President Zelensky said that in the eight months of 2025 Russian force have either suffered 290,000 deaths and severely wounded soldiers fighting on the front.

Most of the heaviest losses have been witnessed in the Donetsk region and Russia forces have failed to achieve their objectives.

Zelensky added, “On some sections of the front, our stabilization measures are currently underway. I am grateful to every unit that ensures the replenishment of Ukraine’s ‘exchange fund’; we see the corresponding results weekly.”

President Zelensky sent a warning to the Kremlin, saying, “We will continue our active operations exactly as needed to defend Ukraine.

“Forces and resources are prepared. We have also planned new deep strikes.”
