An Israeli minister has confirmed that at least six people have been killed in a shooting in Jerusalem on Monday morning with at least 15 injured.
Police said that “two terrorists” opened fire at a bust bus stop in northern Jerusalem and they were “neutralised.”
Medics said the seen was chaos with wounded people some unconscious on the road with broken glass everywhere.
The Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sent his condolences to the victims and the families saying that Israel is “in an intense war against terror on several fronts.”

He vowed, “We are now in pursuit, sieging the villages from which the murderers came. And we will get everyone who helped them, everyone who sent them, and we will carry out even tougher measures.”
Hamas praised the two Palestinian “resistance fighters” who announced they carried out the deadly attack in Jerusalem, the motive for the attack is unclear at this point.
Deputy Foreign Minister Sharren Haskel said, “Two terrorists boarded a bus on route 62 and opened fire on passengers and bystanders.
“Many were murdered and others severely injured.
“Our hearts are with the families who are mourning their loved ones on this terrible day.”
The minister added “The people of Israel will continue to stand strong and united against those who seek to destroy us”.
