Belarus’s top brass Major General Vladimir Kupriyanyuk has said the “collective West” are preparing for “military action.”

He said that NATO are preparing for armed confrontation with “either Belarus or Russia” to secure a victory for Kyiv.

In an interview with the Belarusian Army Newspaper, Deputy Chief of the Belarusian General Staff Major General Kupriyanyuk said, “One thing is clear: the collective West has recognized its inability to carry out a coup d’etat in either Belarus or Russia, or to secure a victory for the Kiev regime on the battlefield.

“This is why the US-led NATO bloc is, in fact, already preparing for open armed confrontation with the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation.”

He also claims, “the collective West continues to demonstrate an increase in the intensity of activities aimed at early preparations for military action.”

The primary focus is on boosting defence spending, enhancing troop strike and offensive capabilities, and expanding the military presence near the borders of the Union State,” he added.

Kupriyanyuk said that by “rapidly enhancing its military capabilities, the collective West is bolstering the presence of coalition forces on the western borders of the Union State.

He added there is “significant groups of troops, equipped with modern weaponry and capable of executing precision strikes against targets in Belarus and western Russia.”

These troops are based in Eastern Europe, the Baltic States and Poland, adding, “the US Air Force’s strategic bomber aircraft is being used to conduct relevant training missions, while NATO reconnaissance aircraft have averaged 30-40 missions per week this year.”

The Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has also bizarrely claimed that NATO are preparing to conduct battles from their own countries in the Asia Pacific region.

Lavrov said, “In July, at the Washington summit, NATO leaders reaffirmed their claim to the alliance’s leading role not only in the Euro-Atlantic region, but also in the Asia-Pacific region.

“If you read the NATO declaration, it turns out that this ‘defensive’ alliance, in order to protect the territory of its members, intends to fight these ‘defensive’ battles in the South China Sea and in the Taiwan Strait, a thousand miles from its shores.”

However, the Americans are deliberately introducing NATO’s military infrastructure into the Pacific Ocean, not hiding the goal of increasing pressure on China, North Korea, and Russia,” he added.

He then warned that observers who are reasonable know “that this is a road to nowhere.”
