“However, the country does not have specialists to work with them.

“So, will those be American specialists? Or citizens of another NATO country?

US to send deadly Patriot missile systems to Ukraine and Moscow warns of ‘possible consequences’ which will deepen the conflict

“They cannot but realise here that Western weapons are being systematically destroyed by our military.

“I think everyone understands perfectly well what fate the personnel, manning these complexes on the territory of Ukraine, can face.

“I want to emphasise that we have repeatedly tried and are still trying to appeal to common sense at all levels.

“It was stressed that the provocative actions by the US are steadily leading to an escalation, the consequences of which cannot even be imagined.”

The Kremlin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov warned that by sending the Patriot missiles systems to Kyiv, this will not prevent Russia achieving their goals.

Peskov said that he sees no signs of Ukraine’s willingness to start peace negotiations after the Zelensky’s visit to the White House.

Peskov added that this provides evidence to the Kremlin that the US are fighting a “proxy war” against Russia.
