North Korea is to deploy thousands more troops to Russia and between 50 and 100 pieces of military equipment.

Pyongyang will send main battle tanks, armoured personnel carriers and 6,000 more troops in the coming months, Ukraine’s spy chief has said.

Ukraine‘s Defense Intelligence chief, Kyrylo Budanov, said, “Some of them may indeed be involved in demining and building fortifications, but will all of them do that?”

Pyongyang will deploy M2010 (Cheonma-D) main battle tanks and BTR-80 armored personnel carriers, RBC-Ukraine reports.

North Korea is providing Russia with 122mm and 152mm ammunition which is being produced 24 hours a day in the hermit country.

Vladimir Putin’s army has received hundreds of missiles, artillery systems and MLRS, Russia has also fixed ineffective weaponry, such as the KN-23 missile that has a range of 690 km and Budanov added, that Russian troops have modified the accuracy of the missiles.

Budanov said that the long-range 170-,, M1989 self-propelled guns are causing a lot of issues for Ukrainian troops.
