President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Sunday morning that Ukrainian F-16s were scrambled and shot down 10 air targets and air defences shot down and destroyed 144 targets.

Russia attacked key infrastructure in Odesa, Volyn, Lviv, Dnipro and Rivne as Moscow “intimidates” Ukraine with the “cold and lack of light.”

President Zelensky said, “Russian terrorists once again want to intimidate us with cold and lack of light. They are repeating their actions and trying to get results from them.

“The whole world sees and knows that we are defending ourselves against absolute evil, which does not understand any language but force. We need unity, the world needs unity. Only together can we stop this evil.”

Andrii Sybiha, Ukraine’s Foreign Minister said that Russia launched one of its “largest air attacks” on “peaceful cities, sleeping civilians” and on “critical infrastructure.”

He added, “This is war criminal Putin’s true response to all those who called and visited him recently. We need peace through strength, not appeasement.”
