The French President Emmanuel Macron held a phone call with Vladimir Putin and the Russian leader warned that “Hiroshima and Nagasaki nuclear attacks are proof you don’t need to hit major cities to win a war.”
The nuclear bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki ended World War Two killing up to 226,000 people which forced Japan to surrender, and Putin warned Macron in a chilling phone call that “you don’t need to attack the major cities in order to win.”
It has been long feared that Putin will launch a tactical nuclear weapon in Ukraine in an attempt to save face and win the war to protect his position as his war is failing and has lost tens of thousands of troops.
A source said that President Macron was left “distinctly alarmed” by Putin’s comment over the possible use of a nuclear weapon.

The French government source told the Daily Mail, “It sounded like a very heavy hint that Putin might detonate a tactical nuclear weapon in the east of Ukraine, while leaving Kyiv intact. That appeared to be the thrust of his remarks.”
The source added, “The two presidents have undoubtedly discussed the risk of nuclear weapons use.
“Putin wants to get the message across that all options are on the table, in line with Russian doctrine relating to nuclear weapons.”
The former British Prime Minister Liz Truss was allegedly informed by UK intelligence chiefs that Putin could detonate a nuclear weapon over the Black Sea to avoid a nuclear war with the West.
It was then claimed that Truss became so worried she was checking weather forecasts over which way the wind could blow which would bring radioacative materials over the UK.
American spies have constantly warned that Putin could launch a tactical nuclear weapon to counter the enormous losses in the killingfields of Ukraine.
John F Kirby, who is a US National Security Council official, refused to make a comment over “the particulars” of the rhetoric used by Putin’s insiders, he added, “We’ve been clear from the outset that Russia’s comments about the potential use of nuclear weapons are deeply concerning, and we take them seriously.
“We continue to monitor this as best we can, and we see no indications that Russia is making preparations for such use.”
