Vladimir Putin has personally overseen a major nuclear exercise and number of nuclear capable intercontinental ballistic missiles were launched from various locations across Russia by air, land and sea
Russia launched the Yars intercontinental ballistic missile towards the Kura range in Kamchatka and the Sineva ballistic missile was fired from the Bryansk nuclear powered missile submarine.
Russia long-range strategic bombers, Tu95MS fired cruise missiles as part of the nuclear training exercise.
The Kremlin said, “The training tested the level of preparedness of military command and control bodies and the practical skills of operational personnel in organising the management of subordinate troops (forces).”
This comes after the White House said the Trump Putin meeting in Budapest is now off as Russia will not agree to a ceasefire.
A White House official said that Trump will not meet with Putin “in the immediate future.”
A White House official said, “Secretary Rubio and Foreign Minister Lavrov had a productive call. Therefore, an additional in person meeting between the Secretary and Foreign Minister is not necessary, and there are no plans for President Trump to meet with President Putin in the immediate future.”
A Kremlin spokesman said there was never a date set for Putin and Trump to meet in Hungary, adding, “You can’t postpone what was not scheduled.”

The spokesman was asked what changed for the meeting to be cancelled, “Well, I didn’t say anything. I didn’t say it would. And, you know, you never know what’s going to happen.
“But a lot of things are happening on that front, on the war front with Ukraine and Russia. And we’ll be notified over the next two days as to what we’re doing.”
The Russian Foreign Minister said, “Now, Washington is saying that we need to stop immediately and not discuss anything further.
“We need to stop and let history decide.
“You see, if we just stop, we will forget about the root causes of this conflict, which the American administration clearly understood when Donald Trump came to power.”
