Vladimir Putin has been told to think about launching a “demonstrative” nuclear explosion to make the West stop using weapons inside Russia.

The Putin backed thinktank said by creating a “nuclear mushroom cloud” which will be shown live on TV this will have a “psychological effect.”

On Wednesday Dmitry Suslov, a senior member of the Moscow-based Council for Foreign and Defence Policy, wrote, “To confirm the seriousness of Russia’s intentions and to convince our opponents of Moscow’s readiness to escalate, it is worth considering a demonstrative nuclear explosion.

“The political and psychological effect of a nuclear mushroom cloud, which will be shown live on all TV channels around the world, will hopefully remind Western politicians of the one thing that has prevented wars between the great powers since 1945 and that they have now largely lost – fear of nuclear war.”

Moscow will strike Gibraltar and other British overseas territory if UK weapons hit Russia

Putin issued another warning to Western countries that there will be “serious consequences” if Ukraine uses their weapons to attack Russia.

Ukrainian forces have been given permission by many NATO countries to attack targets deep inside Russia.

Putin reportedly went berserk when he learned that the French President Emmanuel Macron has told Kyiv they can use their weapons to strike the Russian Federation.

Macron said that Kyiv must be allowed to “neutralise” Russian military sites that are launching strikes in Ukraine.

Putin warned Western leaders during a visit to Tashkent, Uzbekistan that “this constant escalation can lead to serious consequences.”

“If these serious consequences occur in Europe, how will the United States behave, bearing in mind our parity in the field of strategic weapons? It’s hard to say – do they want a global conflict?”

In a direct warning to smaller European countries, he strongly advised them be aware of the risks for them by provoking an escalation.

The Russian despot said, “In Europe, especially in small countries, they should be aware of what they are playing with.”

Putin gave another nuclear threat saying that many European countries have a “small territory” with a “dense population.”

“This is a factor that they should keep in mind before talking about striking deep into Russian territory.”

The Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that after conducting nuclear drills he is hoping this will “knock sense” into the West.

Lavrov told RIA state news agency that Belgium has pledged to send US-made F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine is a “signal action.”

Lavrov added, “They are trying to tell us that the United States and NATO would stop at nothing in Ukraine.

Nevertheless, we hope that the Russian-Belarusian drills on the use of non-strategic nuclear weapons that are under way now will knock some sense into our opponents by reminding them about the catastrophic consequences of further nuclear escalation.
