Overnight air raid alerts could be hear over Ukraine as Russia launched more than 400 drones and over 40 missiles across the country and they also bombarded Kyiv other cities, towns and villages.

This comes as Vladimir Putin vowed to respond hard to Ukraine’s “Spiderweb” drone operation destroying and damaging more than 40 aircraft across four airfields inside Russia including Moscow’s strategic nuclear capable bombers on Sunday.

The attack including cruise, Kalibr and ballistic missiles including drones and a residential building in the Solomianskyi district was badly damaged with an outer wall blown out including windows and doors.

Mayor Vitali Klitschko said four people have been killed, adding,”Search and rescue operations are ongoing in several locations.

The Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky wrote on social media, “If someone does not put pressure and gives the war more time to take lives, they are complicit and responsible. We need to act decisively.”

He also said, “Russia doesn’t change its stripes – another massive strike on cities and ordinary life.”

“My sincere condolences to their families. All the necessary services are now on the ground, clearing the rubble and conducting rescue operations. All damage will definitely be restored,” the President added.

Zelensky concluded, “We’ve done a lot together with the world to enable Ukraine to defend itself.

“But now is exactly the moment when America, Europe, and everyone around the world can stop this war together by pressuring Russia.

“If someone is not applying pressure and is giving the war more time to take lives – that is complicity and accountability. We must act decisively.”
