The US President Joe Biden has authorised Ukraine to use American supplied long-range missiles to be used to strike military targets deep inside Russia.

This marks a significant change in US policy and Ukraine will likely use the Army Tactical Missile Systems (ATACMS) to strike Russian and Noth Korean soldiers inside the Kursk region, a source told the New York Times.

A Russian MP and close ally of Vladimir Putin told Reuters, “These guys, Biden’s administration, is trying to escalate the situation to the maximum while they still have power and are still in office.

I have a great hope that Trump will overcome this decision if this has been made because they are seriously risking the start of World War Three which is not in anybody’s interest.

This is a very big step towards the start of World War III,” lawmaker Vladimir Dzhabarov said.

“The West has decided on a level of escalation that could end with the remnants of Ukraine completely losing their statehood,” Andrei Klishas, a member of Russia’s Federation Council.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said overnight, “Today, there’s a lot of talk in the media about us receiving permission for respective actions. But strikes are not carried out with words. Such things are not announced.

“Missiles will speak for themselves. They certainly will.”

In September Putin warned that if the US lifts the ban on long-range missiles this will be seen as NATOs “direct preparation” for war.

He added, “This, of course, will significantly change the very essence, the very nature of the conflict.”

US Senator Mike Lee warned, “Joe Biden [has] just set the stage for World War III. Let’s all pray it doesn’t come to that.”
