The restoration of normal relations between the Russian Federation and the United States is possible if the new administration of Donald Trump radically changes course and forces the neo-Nazi regime in Ukraine to capitulate.
Commenting on the presidential elections in the US Sergey Mironov quoted Trump as saying that America’s course would change 180 degrees, and the country would not start wars.
Mironov told LondonLovesBusiness.com, “Of course, few people believe in this. But the main thing is that this course does not ‘change 360 degrees’, as some EU politicians declared. In this case, we will be able to look for common ground.
“Changes are needed not only in comparison with the Biden administration but also with the administration of Trump himself when he was president for the first time.

“Under him, US-Russia relations continued to deteriorate rapidly due to the fault of the United States,” said a member of the Russian parliament.”
Separately, Sergey Mironov commented on Trump’s promise to end the conflict in Ukraine in 24 hours.
Mironov said, “Russia also wants lasting peace. I can suggest how this can be achieved: by capitulation of the Zelensky regime, which is entirely dependent on the West.
“If Trump shows the courage and goes for it, he will be able to claim the Nobel Peace Prize. If he turns out to be like Zelensky, who also talked a lot about peace before his election, then Russia will act accordingly.
“Ending the conflict in Ukraine on the terms set by Russia and restoring normal relations with it is in the interests of the United States and Europe. But to do this, the West needs to abandon its idea of global domination and start building relations on equal terms. Trump is a businessman, and I hope he will correctly calculate all the risks and benefits.
“You can’t always be led by an aggressive military-industrial complex – after all, the American economy is not living only by it. And, of course, it is impossible in the modern world to solve issues by force – this is fraught with even greater losses. Let’s wait and see if the new US president can fulfill his election promises and overcome the powerful anti-Russian lobby of the ‘deep state’ which he planned to fight.
“Yes, Russia is skeptical. But we believe that a bad peace is better than a good war.
“Russia has nothing against the people of America and does not interfere in their internal affairs, no matter what some might claim. But we will not tolerate interference in our affairs and will firmly defend our national interests – all our adversaries should clearly understand this.”
