Motorola is on a roll at CES. In addition to showcasing the new Razr Fold and the Motorola Signature, the company has unveiled a new range of accessories at the trade show, including the Moto Tag 2, the Moto Watch, and the Moto Pen Ultra stylus.

Motorola has also announced a new portable speaker dubbed the Moto Sound Flow, designed to deliver premium audio performance in a stylish design. The cylindrical speaker features a twill-textured fabric finish in two Pantone-curated colors, Carbon and Warm Taupe.

While the Moto Sound Flow keeps things minimal on the outside, it packs an impressive set of audio hardware on the inside, including a dedicated woofer, tweeter, and dual passive radiators. Tuned using Sound by Bose technology, the speaker delivers up to 30W of output.

The speaker offers Wi-Fi support, allowing users to easily stream high-quality music from connected devices with a single tap, and comes with Bluetooth 5 for wireless pairing. Like Motorola’s new tracker, the Moto Sound Flow also comes with UWB support, and can detect how close the user’s phone is to seamlessly transfer ongoing calls or music.

The Moto Sound Flow’s UWB-powered features set it apart

UWB also enables a Dynamic Stereo feature that can automatically detect the left and right channel based on the phone’s position when using two speakers. In multi-room setups, the speaker’s RoomShift feature utilizes UWB to locate the connected phone and automatically switch audio to the nearest speaker.

The Moto Sound Flow packs a hefty 6,000mAh battery and features an IP67 dust and water resistance rating, making it a great option for outdoor use as well. It’s priced at €199 and will be available in select European markets, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, and the Asia-Pacific region in the coming weeks. Motorola has not revealed plans to launch the speaker in North America yet.
