Originally launched by Sholom Sandler in February 2022, The Suitman & Co was inspired by Sholom’s experience of investing in his own tailored suit, where he was left disappointed with both the service and product quality provided.
Committed to redefining the standards of custom tailoring services, Sholom set to work in searching for premium English and Italian fabrics that would enable him to create masterpieces unparalleled in quality, durability and fit.
Having worked incredibly hard to build a unique, market leading mobile tailoring service that brings convenience and quality all in one suit, Sholom and his business partner – Solomon Benzaquen – have since established a leading reputation throughout the Capital for quality craftmanship and workmanship alike.
As such, The Suitman & Co is now on an exciting trajectory for growth, having recently collaborated with household names like Rolls Royce while more than doubling its turnover.
Sholom Sandler, Founder and Director of The Suitman & Co, confirmed: “I started my business life in the world of finance where I was training to become an Independent Financial Advisor [IFA]. Wanting to dress the part, I decided to invest in a tailored suit but was incredibly disappointed and frustrated by the whole experience.
I have always had an eye for quality clothing and felt that I could genuinely create my own suit and so set about researching the very best Italian and British fabrics. From here, I started to create tailored suits for friends, family members and colleagues alike and before long The Suitman & Co was born. Over the last two years, my business partner and I have worked tirelessly to build our brand, reputation and client base and I am incredibly proud of everything we have achieved.
