The US President seemingly turned dictator has vowed that America will take over Greenland “whether they like it or not.”

This has sent further shockwaves across NATO and the Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen has warned that should the US take over the country this will be the end of the alliance.

Donald Trump said during a press conference that if the US does not take control of Greenland now, then Russia or China will.

Trump was asked how much money he will offer to Denmark, he said this is not about money “yet,” however I “might talk about that.”

Danish soldiers will ‘immediately’ shoot invading forces without orders should the US attack Greenland

Trump said, “Right now, we are going to do something on Greenland, whether they like it or not because if we don’t do it Russia or China will take over Greenland, and we’re not going to have Russia or China as a neighbour. Okay?

“I would like to make a deal, you know, the easy way. But if we don’t do it the easy way, we’re going to do it the hard way.”

Lat week White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said that the option of buying Greenland is being “actively discussed by the president and his national security team.”

It has been reported that Washington could pay between $10,000 to $100,000 per person in Greenland if they agree to become part of America.

The Danish Prime Minister told Danish broadcaster TV2, “If the United States chooses to attack another NATO country militarily, then everything stops.

“That is, including our NATO and thus the security that has been provided since the end of the Second World War.”
