This OLED Surface Pro deal makes it the best 2-in-1 ever made

I loved the Surface Pro 11th Edition. In my review of it, I tell people to “just buy it.” If you’ve ever been curious about the Surface Pro, the 11th-generation model feels like the version of this device that I’ve always wanted it to be. It’s a true iPad Pro competitor in just about every aspect — except that it runs Windows and is a much better laptop replacement.

The only real problem was the price. Microsoft never sells the device bundled with the Surface Pro keyboard, which you’re definitely going to want, and that adds another $180. Ouch.

But for Cyber Monday, it’s being sold at a significant discount, easily making it the best 2-in-1 laptop ever made. The Surface Pro 11th Edition costs just $1,000 right now, which is a 29% discount on the normal price. It’s among the best Cyber Monday Surface deals you’ll find today.

While you could always get a $999 Surface Pro 11, that was the slower model that came with the Snapdragon X Plus chip. And now, you can get the faster Snapdragon X Elite configuration for that same price. That’s the model with the largest percentage drop — and you’ll appreciate the OLED screen on that configuration. For an extra $100, that’s totally worth it.

But the more affordable configuration is pretty solid too. It’s been discounted to $840, which has the Snapdragon X Plus and LCD screen, yes, but comes at quite an inexpensive price for this quality of a device. The jump from 256GB to 512GB only costs $50 too. Compared to what Microsoft normally charges, that’s a great deal.

The Surface Pro 11 came out just earlier this year and was the first Surface 2-in-1 to come with these new Snapdragon X chips, which greatly enhance the device’s efficiency, with a claimed 22 hours of battery life. That was one of my biggest hangups with previous generations of the Surface Pro, which never got enough battery life to make it the ultimate travel device. But that’s exactly what the Surface Pro 11 is. You can even use the keyboard separated from the tablet now, make it perfect for flights.
