LG has been producing some of the best OLED TVs for several years, and it’s good to see the brand shows no signs of stopping. LG OLEDs deliver rich colors, deep contrast, and some of the brightest OLED picture without any type of LED backlighting. And while we see plenty of TV deals, we can’t stop thinking about how good this Walmart offer is:

For a limited time, when you purchase the LG 65-inch C4 Series OLED at Walmart, you’ll pay $1,496. At full price, this model sells for $1,716. We tested the LG C4 a few months ago, and editor at large Caleb Denison had this to say: “This LG OLED EVO C4 is so good, we think that everyone should have this TV.” Several other sizes are on sale as well.

Why you should buy the LG C4 OLED

OLED TVs are the kind of TVs that every movie-lover should own. Why, you may ask? The C4 has over eight million self-emissive pixels and zero LED lighting, so when a part of the picture is supposed to look dark, it looks very dark. But more than just inky black levels, the C4 Series brings a wide color gamut to the table, as well as unbeatable HDR performance. And with its native 120Hz refresh rate, HDMI 2.1 connectivity, and VRR capabilities, it’s also an excellent TV for gaming.

The C4 Series uses LG’s webOS 24 for all things apps and games. You’ll even gain access to hundreds of live TV channels, along with wireless casting for Apple devices via AirPlay 2. We were also glad to learn that this TV has incredible 4K upscaling that makes every movie, show, and game look crisp, clear, and detailed, even if it wasn’t filmed in 4K originally.

It’s hard to say how long this discount is going to stick around, but if we’ve learned anything about Walmart deals, it’s that they tend to come and go rather quickly. That being said, now might be the best time to buy. Take $220 off the LG 65-inch C4 Series OLED when you purchase at Walmart, and be sure to check out our roundup of the best OLED TV deals for even more LG markdowns!
