There has been no change for the Conservative Party (21%) who remain on their lowest ever vote share in a Savanta poll under the leadership of Rishi Sunak, according to the latest voting intention poll from Savanta for The Telegraph.

The poll, conducted this week (14-16 June), sees Reform UK (14%) marginally increasing to record their highest vote share in a Savanta poll since the party’s official creation in January 2021, while other smaller parties and independent candidates have seen also small increases at the expense of Labour.

The Labour Party is on 40% of the vote, a six-point drop, giving them a 19-point lead over the Conservatives.

Chris Hopkins, Political Research Director at Savanta said, “Our research suggests – as it has done for quite some time – that the Conservative Party is on course for a historic defeat on 4th July. If this does come to pass, it will be in no small part because of Reform UK, who have once again recorded their highest vote share in a Savanta poll since their official creation.”

“Now that voters are increasingly clear about the choices facing them on 4 July, there may well be a trend towards smaller parties and independent candidates. This will likely have limited impact on what currently looks like a colossal Labour victory.”

With Parliamentary candidates recently finalised, Savanta has now implemented a ‘ballot prompt’ in its voting intention polls. Further information can be found in notes to editors.
