The US President has hit out at Vladimir Putin for that cruise missile and drone attacks that killed eight civilians and injured 77 people.

Donald Trump said the attacks was “not necessary” and called it “very bad timing” and urged Putin to get “the peace deal done.”

Trump wrote on his social media account Truth Social, “I am not happy with the Russian strikes on Kyiv. Not necessary, and very bad timing.”

He added, “Vladimir, STOP! 5000 soldiers a week are dying. Lets get the Peace Deal DONE!”

On Thursday Russia launched a massive missile and drone attack on the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv killing at least nine people leaving many injured.

Russia launched a total of 215 drones and missiles across Ukraine overnight.

The attack was the largest since July last year and the attack involved 11 ballistic missiles, 55 cruise missiles and 145 drones.

Ukraine’s State Emergency Service said that at least 42 people have been taken to hospital and people are trapped under rubble.

The Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said, “It is very important that everyone in the world sees and understands what is really happening.”
