The US President is furious with Vladimir Putin and has said he is “very disappointed” and has warned the 50-day deadline imposed on the Kremlin due to end on 2 September could be reduced.

Donald Trump said speaking at his Scottish golfer resort in Turnberry,  that Putin’s constant drones and missiles attacks has left “bodies lying all over the street” across Ukraine.

The US President said, “We thought we had that settled numerous times, and then President Putin goes out and starts launching rockets into some city like Kyiv and kills a lot of people in a nursing home or whatever.

“You have bodies lying all over the street, and I say that’s not the way to do it. So we’ll see what happens with that.

“We’re going to have to look and I’m going to reduce that 50 days that I gave him to a lesser number, because I think I already know the answer, what’s going to happen.

“I’m going to make a new deadline of about 10 — 10 or 12 days from today,” Trump added, “There’s no reason they’re waiting.

“I want to be generous, but we just don’t see any progress being made.”

Trump expressed his frustrations saying, “Russia and Ukraine — I would have said five times we had a deal. I spoke to President Putin a lot. Got along with him very well.

“Then President Putin launches rockets into a city like Kyiv and kills a lot of people in a nursing home, or wherever and there are bodies lying all over the street.”

Trump has previously said that should Putin not agree to making progress to a ceasefire then Washington will consider hitting Moscow with harsh 100% secondary sanctions on Russia’s trade partners, these include China, Iran, India and North Korea.

This month Trump said alongside the NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, “I’ve been hearing so much talk. It’s all talk. It’s all talk, and then missiles go into Kyiv and kill 60 people.”
