A Polish national security chief has warned that Vladimir Putin is “winning this war” against Ukraine.

Jacek Siewiera, head of the Polish National Security Bureau, told Radio Zet that Russian forces hold the “advantage on the battlefield.”

Siewiera warned, “The Russian side unquestionably holds both the initiative and the advantage [on the battlefield].

“If we measure the war solely by the area of land occupied, Russia is undoubtedly winning this war.”

The Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has warned that Ukraine faces to “lose the war” if things continue as they are.

Speaking to the Financial Times Kuleba warned, “If it continues like this, we will lose the war.”

He was asked, Do we today have the means and tools to turn the tables and change the trajectory of how things are happening?”

Kuleba said, “No, we don’t. And if it continues like this, we will lose the war.”

Kuleba also warned that Ukraine could lose the war if they do not continue to receive funds to turn the war around.

The Ukrainian Foreign Minister warned how difficult it is on the frontlines, he said that it is looking “bad.”

He told the FT, “It is true that the situation on the battlefield looks bad. But in the first months of 2022, everything looked even worse.

“What I hate in conversations with European and American experts – and I hate this word, which I usually do not use — is that everyone asks: what is Ukraine ready for, what is Ukraine ready to accept?

“And I say: guys, first find an answer to the question of what Putin is ready to accept. Because that’s where this war starts.”

The head of MI6 Sir Richard Moore has warned that should Putin win the war in Ukraine “he will not stop there” and will attack other countries.

Sir Richard said, “In 37 years in the intelligence profession I’ve never seen the world in a more dangerous state. And the impact on Europe, our shared European home, could hardly be more serious.”

He added that if “Putin is allowed to succeed in reducing Ukraine to a vassal state he will not stop there.”
